The North Group helps position arts organizations for effective fundraising by analyzing their fundraising needs; envisioning those needs within a broader organizational, community and/or regional context; conducting feasibility studies, facility master planning and prospect research in ways to enhance buy-in and support from key potential donors; creating detailed strategies for cultivation and solicitation of individuals, corporations, foundations, and governments; and enabling volunteer leaders to succeed with campaign tools and materials conducive to comfortable, gracious one-on-one fundraising.

Adaptive reuse planning
The North Group works with communities and arts organizations to create facility program and "use" feasibility studies as well as financial-based cultural plans which position cultural organizations to develop a base of support in the public sector and to fundraise more effectively in the private sector. These studies have included the evaluation of starting or rejuvenating united arts funds.
